info

Jan Senft, performing under the name Člověk krve (Man of blood) is a poet and folksinger indigenous from Stříbrná Skalice (Skalice of Silver Mountains). His songs are based in an uncertain time, nevertheless they resonate with everyday living in the times that past and times that are yet to come. He verses about his native countryside around the Stříbrná Skalice which is located in the Posázaví but he also verses about other funereal and forgotten places across the Czech republic. You can hear inspirations by formation Čp. 8, folksinger Petr Linhart, band Druhá Tráva or band Traband in his magic-folk songs. But he can transform all the inspiration to the unique and original universe.
