info The newly formed collaboration between the Czech Centres and the Akropolis Palace aims to support the trips of domestic artists abroad. The selection of bands follows the series by Michal Nejtek called „Jazz Nejtek Selection“, which you can also listen to right here at Žižkov. Formed in 2011, E Converso is a band that brings together four talented musicians of the upcoming generation. Saxophonist Michal Wróblewski describes the formation as genre-open and uninhibitedly improvising. "In our music we work with improvisation in every possible way. E Converso works with mood, chance and emotion so that its formally plastic compositions can and do sound completely different every night. With its dynamic and energetic music with original concepts and a light dose of humour, the band fights against musical conventions. The project is funded by the Ministry of Culture, the National Regeneration Plan and the European Union – Next Generation EU. |
