It is possible to divide the contemporary theatre dramaturgy of the Palác Akropolis to three streams. The first one is connected with the non-verbal theatre and the genres of new circus and physical theatre. Second one is about traditional community theatre which got the impulse and form from the groups Pražská pětka, such as Divadlo Sklep or Baletní jednotka Křeč. Currently the group Kabaret Caligula or Tros Sketos flow in this stream.
The third stream is created by social and experimental theatre which follows contemporary social issues.
