Seb Wildblood, one of the leading representatives of London's contemporary underground scene and a master of finely structured house, will present himself to the Czech audience for the first time in March. His debut live performance at Bike Jesus will bring a sound full of sophistication, combining organic and electronic elements. Get ready for a fresh take on modern electronica. Seb Wildblood will be bringing a label showcase to Prague that will also feature Long Island Sound. The Dublin duo will offer an eclectic live show full of straight and broken beats, the showcase will be accompanied by British DJ and producer Dreamrdreamr.
Described by DJ Mag as „one of the most active figures in the UK underground scene“, Seb Wildblood produces tracks, does DJing and has his fingers in several major labels – he founded Coastal Haze and All My Thoughts and co-founded the Church label. He's also released on Chaos In The CBD, SUCHI, Tom VR and Ouri, and produced music for the Paris and London shows of clothing chain JW Anderson. He was born in London but now lives in Los Angeles. Seb Wildblood straddles the line between electronica, ambient, jazz and indie on Separation Anxiety, his latest record to date, and has featured guest appearances from Sir Was, Lawrence and singer Tess Roby. „It's a record about letting go and what it's like when you start to build your own future,“ explains Wildblood, who can make tracks for the dancefloor and the introverted listening ear.
Dublin-based duo Rob Roche and Tim Nolan's Long Island Sound project balances out euphoric and introspective side of contemporary electronic music. It doesn't lack emotion or dynamics, their live performances offer an exploratory journey through the landscape of house, techno, electro and breaks that is as dreamy as it is energetic. Debuting in 2017 with the Last Place You Look EP on Australian label Kyoku, they went on to launch their own label, Signs of Space, which has released several EPs as well as their full-length debut Lost Connection. Resident Advisor described the 2022 record as „wonderful, heartfelt techno to sunset“. Long Island Sound has been remixed by Depeche Mode and Kassian, and is remixed by Otik for a change. Hydra's second studio album Long Island Sound is out this November.
Under the Dreamrdreamr banner is London-based DJ and producer Ruby, who likes to take listeners on a hypnotic trip through the club night. In her sets, you may come across deep house, techno, jungle and trance, with the clear aim of inducing a state of blissful euphoria. She is associated with cult radio station Rinse FM, where she has a show called Borne Fruits, and has collaborated with the Earful of Wax label and club night Serenade. „Her music can form the soundtrack to dancefloor fever and after parties alike,“ DJ Mag recently wrote of her, including her in its monthly selection of Artists You Must Hear. Her EP Through The Elements is out now on all my thoughts, the label run by Seb Wildblood. Together they will appear in Prague on March 15th at Bike Jesus
