Rock Me Baby is not your usual dance performance. With a playful mix of punk-rock energy, glittering costumes, and bold hairstyles, it creates a vibrant show for both children and adults that joyfully challenges established norms. Five performers invite audiences of all ages into a world of imagination, laughter, and discovery.
Created by Norwegian artists Karstein Solli and Øystein Elle together with their team, the piece blends music, dance, and theatre into an interactive experience. Rock Me Baby playfully presents gender as an open spectrum of expression and offers a unique journey full of rhythm, color, and surprises—encouraging curiosity, freedom of expression, and shared moments between children and their caregivers.
