info The concert will take place as part of the European tour stop, "I Hate Myself Because – Spring 2025." I Hate Myself Because A garage punk musical project of the up-and-coming Ukrainian musician Maksym Semeniuk. Known by his transient „I Don't Dance“ and fuzzy „I Feel Bad“ Maksym tries to get rid of his tiresome reputation as the author of superficial just-a-bit-over-1-minute-long hi playing them a little longer at concerts – great idea. Eccentric emotional vocals combined w rough guitars and constant promises of a full-length album – this is what you should expect from I Hate Myself Because. Since the project's inception, Maksym has already reached over 50 million streams on digita platforms, which has helped him build a great audience from all over the world. In Septembe 2024 he embarked on his first European tour that saw nearly all concerts sold out, with particularly remarkable show in Paris attended by 470 people. Ghost of You Strangely danceable Czech psychedelic art pop group with a hint of jazz noise math. Since its first album Glacier & the City in 2015, Ghost of You has played their unhinged form of strangely danceable raw guitar pop around its homeland, Slovakia, Austria, Netherlands, Hungary, Germany and the UK. Along with their second Black Yoga (2018), its unique blend of tight rhythms, poisonous guitar twists and groovy bass brought acclaim and secured them spots on festivals like Sziget, Donauinselfest, Waves Vienna, Eurosonic Nooderslaag or Colours of Ostrava. The band repeatedly sold out shows in Brno and Prague, gaining a solid following. During the pandemic, the band has withdrawn from extensive live playing to work on new material. The third record comes six years after its predecessor, the band emerging more mature and tighter than ever, Eyes Shut set for release in November, 2024, ready to push their boundaries once again. This concert is supported by Liveurope. The first EU-wide initiative to support concert clubs in their efforts to host concerts by emerging European artists. Liveurope is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union. |
