Tantehorse is the story of a boy who is prepared to sacrifice his life for his beloved toy horse who has been lost in the virtual world during the war. In this unreal world that includes very real moments of warfare, he confronts, for the first time, the moral dilemma concerning the meanings of good and bad. He struggles with ignorant selfishness, blind faith, obsession, cruelty, power and tyranny in an effort to find his own inner strength and the true expression of his selfless love for his horse.
