October last year Jan Bang started teaching in electronic music at the University of Agder, a new program focusing on live electronics where the students uses samplers and laptop as main instrument. In this masterclass, Bang will be talking about his pioneering in live sampling and the development of the Live remix concept by himself and co-artistic director, Erik Honoré. Exemplified by playing pieces from his own production as both artist and producer and touch upon his various production technics.
