Get lost in a landscape that's covered in snow. Akropolis Palace will be rocked by producer Ventolin and Polish band Coals at the beginning of December.

Ventolin

David Doubek is a cultural anthropologist and professor of Disco Science. Under the pseudonym Ventolin, he has also become one of the most popular personalities in Czech electronic music. His work mixes elements of disco, minimalist techno and pure musical joy. His concerts are driven by the beats of archaic drum machines, the sounds of analogue synthesizers and the experiments of old samplers. Ventolin released his debut album Totem in 2012, and five years later he broke through with his record Vitajte, which was followed up the year before with Dneska se vyčasilo. You can hear the playful music of these albums on the first evening in December at Žižkov.

Coals (PL)

Coals is a Polish duo consisting of Kacha and Lucassi. They have two full-length albums and several EPs to their credit. Currently. the band is working on songs for their new album, which you can hear live in Prague. With their concert energy, dancing, and especially their distinctive electropop music, Coals have impressed at international festivals such as Primavera Sound, Iceland Airwaves, Pohoda, and Tune In-Tel Aviv. The duo also takes great pride in the visual aspect of their performances and will light up the Great Hall of Akropolis Palace in December.

Kosmic Skaut

Mikuláš Daněk has been performing as a Kosmic Scout since 2015, exploring musical universes across dimensions. He has crossed galaxies of musical styles, deep house, new disco, electro… Each of the many genres has passed on something that he carries with him. His sets are never about one genre, but rather about mood and frequency, groove and layers that draw you in and can vibrate you.He is currently exploring styles like hypnotic, goa, trance, but also more experimental sets full of acid, bass, ambient and chill music.

The dramaturgy of the PULZ series at the Acropolis Palace is the work of Vojtěch Tkáč, music publicist and Radio 1 presenter. The evening will take place in cooperation with Akropolis Underground.

The concert is supported by Liveurope. Liveurope is the first EU-wide initiative to support concert clubs in their efforts to host concerts by emerging European artists. Liveurope is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union."
