The newly established cooperation between the Czech Centres and the Akropolis Palace aims to support trips of domestic artists abroad. The selection of bands is a continuation of the series by Michal Nejtek called „Jazz Nejtek Selection“, which you can also listen to right here in Žižkov.

The new trio Pudlax brings a combination of modern jazz and free improvisation. Its members played together for a long time as the rhythm section of other projects, which resulted in the creation of the trio, whose music combines sophisticated composition and spontaneous communication of the players. The core of the trio is formed by the sibling duo of Klára Pudláková (Avokaduo, 2in2out, Uthando, Molotov Moloch, Trio Henya) and Jan Pudlák (Uthando, Empyrean sextet, Crescent Quartet), complemented by drummer Jakub Švejnar (Jungle Debris, Uthando, KIN).

The project is funded by the Ministry of Culture, the National Regeneration Plan and the European Union – Next Generation EU.
