info Enjoy the concert of Spanish producer and DJ MPak, who will perform as part of the Beans series, with support from Akropolis Underground featuring DJ Joshek and Marie Pravda. Get ready to dance and have fun! MPak is the artistic pseudonym of Sergio Barroso, a DJ, producer, and founder of the Seville-based label Dynamic Form. With a unique style that combines broken beats and the industrial sound of Birmingham techno, MPak has become a key figure in the electronic music scene. As a resident of Prisma, one of Seville’s most prominent clubs, MPak captivates audiences with his energetic sets. He frequently performs alongside international stars such as Oscar Mulero, Adriana Lopez, Sven Väth, and Quelza. His performances stand out with dynamic energy and precise musical flow, making him a favorite among techno fans. Beyond the DJ booth, as the head of Dynamic Form, MPak proves to be a talented discoverer of new musical talents. Joshek DJ Joshek is an experienced club veteran who has been navigating domestic discos, clubs, and festivals since the beginning of the millennium. His selection is versatile and unique—ranging from house and techno to electro and disco specialties. In the past (or even last year), he has opened for icons such as Apparat, Ellen Allien, Rex The Dog, Luke Slater, Vitalic, and DJ Hell. A native of Svitavy and a resident DJ, he has performed at festivals such as (or formerly) Suncastle, Summer Of Love, Semtex Culture, IFF Karlovy Vary, Rosnička, and Transforma. Last year, he also appeared at Rock for People and Pop Messe. Marie Pravda When Marie Pravda settles into a DJ booth, she’s there to spark some chemistry with those willing to embrace it. While she is perfectly capable of generating similar energy in her recordings for the online world, it’s the endless push and pull with the physical crowd that charges her selection and mixing. Developing into an avid digger during long shifts in gloomy basements and online, the Prague-based DJ and DIY promoter took the Czech scene by storm with her savage take on a growing range of club music—whether she’s selecting tracks from her trippy or dance folders. The concert is organized with the support of Liveurope, the first pan-European initiative supporting concert venues in their efforts to showcase emerging European artists. The Liveurope project is co-financed by the European Union’s Creative Europe program. |
