As a great finish and ending of the Mladí Ladí Jazz festival you will have the wonderful opportunity to be part of the concert of a real legend, even though very young one. Victor Wooten, five-time winner of Grammy Awards and proud member of the club of the 10 Best bass guitar players of all time (according to Rolling Stone magazine). Wooten won prestigious award “Bass Player of the Year” of Bass Player magazine, even 3 times in a row. He is the only one who has won such an award more than once. Along with Stanley Clark and Marcus Miller he established legendary project with symptomatic name SMV. What is concerning Wooten´s life, he´s the youngest among five brothers. One of them, Regi, started teaching little Victor how to play the bass already in his two years, four years later he was part of the family band called “The Wooten Brothers”. It is interesting to mention that besides the bass guitar and double-bass Victor played the cello on high school too and continues till today. Victor Wooten has recorded 9 solo albums and he directly cooperated on 21 others. The Mladí Ladí Jazz festival finale will be performed by Victor Wooten with his whole wonderful Band!
