Artist’s statement: Thank you to everyone who has come out to the shows and
festivals throughout this year. The past 12 months have been incredibly
intense, starting with the birth of my first child, an amazing and life-changing
thing, the release of my second album, followed by a heavy touring schedule,
during which I moved our home to the other side of the world and back to
Europe.
This years touring has really taken its toll on me both mentally and
physically, and I’ve been strongly advised to take some time out. I am
therefore going to be moving the October/November headline tour dates to next
year.
I'm very sorry to anyone I disappoint in doing this,
I wouldn't be doing it if I didn't feel it absolutely
necessary. I am really thankful for your love and support, and look forward
to coming back next year with clarity and health. Christopher Michael Taylor
broke through with his project Trouble Over Tokyo which he ended back in
2012 and went ahead towards new music horizons as SOHN. The debut album
Tremors was followed by two years long global tour which established SOHN as a
secret tip of music lovers. Mesmerizing combination of vocal and analogue
synthesizers received positive reviews from variety of media like Pitchfork or
The Guardian. SOHN than worked on songs for global super stars like Rihanna and
remixes for Disclosure or The Weeknd. His latest album Rennen was released at
January 2017, bolder and more straightforward than every song.
