BULP

Bulp is an alter ego of Samo Štefanec, young electronic music producer, whose work represents a blend of dynamic rhythms and melodic lines with an emphasis on captivating atmosphere. Bulp aims to organically connect contemporary dance music with cinematic soundscapes, taking the listener on a journey beyond the dancefloor and back. His style is a diverse mixture of electronic sounds and musical instruments, also at times including his own singing, and collaborations with his sister, vocalist Jana Salvi. Bulp received the Newcomer Of The Year award at Radio_Head Awards 2015 and the Album of the year – Electronic music award at Radio_Head Awards 2017, prestigious Slovak national radio awards. In September 2015, Bulp released a debut EP by the name Endian and the release was soon very well welcomed in Slovakia and neighboring Czech Republic. In April 2017, debut album Yrsa followed, which was critically acclaimed by the music journalists as a release with world-class sound. In June 2020, Bulp released the latest EP by the name of Parvin, further exploring the mixture of dance music and cinematic sounding compositions.
