info Seb Wildblood, one of the leading representatives of London's contemporary underground scene and a master of finely structured house, will present himself to the Czech audience for the first time in March. His debut live performance at Bike Jesus will bring a sound full of sophistication, combining organic and electronic elements. Get ready for a fresh take on modern electronica. Seb Wildblood will be bringing a label showcase to Prague that will also feature Long Island Sound. The Dublin duo will offer an eclectic live show full of straight and broken beats, the showcase will be accompanied with DJ set by British Blossom Hill. The entire evening will be led by the visualist duo: Teres Bartůňková & Petr Cuker. Described by DJ Mag as „one of the most active figures in the UK underground scene“, Seb Wildblood produces tracks, does DJing and has his fingers in several major labels – he founded Coastal Haze and All My Thoughts and co-founded the Church label. He's also released on Chaos In The CBD, SUCHI, Tom VR and Ouri, and produced music for the Paris and London shows of clothing chain JW Anderson. He was born in London but now lives in Los Angeles. Seb Wildblood straddles the line between electronica, ambient, jazz and indie on Separation Anxiety, his latest record to date, and has featured guest appearances from Sir Was, Lawrence and singer Tess Roby. „It's a record about letting go and what it's like when you start to build your own future,“ explains Wildblood, who can make tracks for the dancefloor and the introverted listening ear. Dublin-based duo Rob Roche and Tim Nolan's Long Island Sound project balances out euphoric and introspective side of contemporary electronic music. It doesn't lack emotion or dynamics, their live performances offer an exploratory journey through the landscape of house, techno, electro and breaks that is as dreamy as it is energetic. Debuting in 2017 with the Last Place You Look EP on Australian label Kyoku, they went on to launch their own label, Signs of Space, which has released several EPs as well as their full-length debut Lost Connection. Resident Advisor described the 2022 record as „wonderful, heartfelt techno to sunset“. Long Island Sound has been remixed by Depeche Mode and Kassian, and is remixed by Otik for a change. Hydra's second studio album Long Island Sound is out this November. Blossom Hill is a British electronic music artist and DJ based in Berlin. His sound sits at the intersection of textural house, detailed electronica, and club-focused IDM, weaving personal narratives into his take on introspective dance music. His debut mini-LP, Home Colours, was written in his Berlin bedroom as a bridge between two cities and a love letter to the people and places he missed in London. Over ten days, he distilled six months of deeply personal experiences into 31 minutes of rich, evocative audio. The record quickly gained support from Jamie XX, Moxie, O’Flynn, and Lefto, with airplay across BBC Radio 6, NTS, and Rinse FM. DJ Mag called it “beguiling”, saying “it’s hard to believe it's his first ever release”, while drawing comparisons to Nathan Micay and Floating Points. Mixmag also named the Home Colours Remix EP among January 2025’s best EPs and albums. Alongside his own productions, Blossom Hill is label manager and A&R for Seb Wildblood’s all my thoughts imprint. Tereza and Petr, as a creative duo, have been connected in recent years by a similar artistic perception, a love for materials, and a sensitivity to light. Their shared artistic journey began with a focus on stage and lighting design for music events, which has recently evolved into a mutual passion for other creative processes, including the creation of objects, sculptures, and lighting fixtures. A crucial intersection in their emerging collaboration is drawing and working with light. Both artists also independently explore various media, such as graphic design, illustration, photography, and line work. In their joint projects, they draw with light, create spatial drawings, and explore the endless possibilities of the interplay between light and darkness. |
