One of the most distinctive voices in Czech rap, REST, will take over Palác Akropolis for two consecutive nights in November. On the first night, he will be joined by special guests Michajlov and Sax, with August Ocean & Idea providing support.

REST has been one of the leading figures on the Czech rap scene for many years and remains closely associated with the Ty Nikdy label. He contributed to the collaborative album Akta X, which won an Anděl Award, and most recently received another nomination for Tlak, recorded together with DJ Wich. In recent years, he has also collaborated with the duo P/\ST and with Kato as part of the project A)TÝM, while also attracting wider attention as a contestant on the television show Survivor. Now REST is once again in full creative flow – performing live, releasing new music and bringing fresh energy to Palác Akropolis. As part of the PULZ series, he is preparing two back-to-back shows.

The evening will open with August Ocean & Idea, a collaboration between a Slovak rapper and the producer and founder of the Ty Nikdy label, delivering personal, introspective rap with a distinctive atmosphere and uncompromising lyrics.

Special guests will also include Michajlov, a prominent voice in Brno's rap scene known for his raw delivery, and Sax, another artist connected to the Czech hip-hop scene.

The PULZ series at Palác Akropolis is curated by Vojtěch Tkáč, editor-in-chief of Refresher. The event takes place in collaboration with Akropolis Underground.
