The South Bohemian band Epydemye, winner of the Anděl genre award, returns to Palác Akropolis after thirteen years to perform their biggest club concert to date. In 2025, the band will celebrate their twentieth anniversary and release their sixth studio album. It’s being produced by Yarda Helešic at Svárov and Barrandov studios. „The album will be different from the previous ones; this time, we aimed to capture the raw live energy. Fans will get the same experience on the album as they do at our concerts,“ promises the band. The album release show at Akropolis will feature new songs, a retrospective of their earlier work, and perhaps their most elaborate audiovisual experience yet.

Epydemye, a folk and folk-rock group, captivates listeners across generations with their positive and vibrant stage energy and songs that explore compelling topics. They are regarded as one of the most distinctive bands on the contemporary folk and singer-songwriter scene.

The band won the Anděl genre award in 2015 for their album Kotlina, a concept album about the lives of notable figures from 20th-century Czechoslovak history. Their album Milé děti (2019) was also nominated for the Anděl award, and in 2021, they released Prosklený nebe.
