Bariel and His Audiovisual Band to Christen Debut Album.The event at Palác Akropolis will also feature musician Anna Vaverková and the duo Hello Marcel. The afterparty will be hosted by TMA, nevertouch, and meldaboi, aka FAB.

Bariel AV

Artist Jakub Baierl is known, for example, from the band Méta Monde or as a DJ from Yoga Kolektiv. After two years of performing with his original audiovisual project Bariel AV, he is now completing his debut album. It will be released in March 2025 under his own label Drip & Styl Records. An integral part of the group are producer and guitarist Zdeněk Prokopec (Good Times Only) and visual magician Rmn Gee (Méta Monde). Their love for analog synthesizers, electronic music, and melancholic melodies will be showcased at the album christening, which will take place on Thursday, March 27, at Palác Akropolis. Special merchandise in the form of lithographic artworks and upcycled clothing, created in collaboration with Jan Bican, will also be available at the event.

Anna Vaverková

A holder of the Anděl and Apollo music awards, Anna Vaverková is one of the most distinctive Czech musicians of today. The singer, composer, and pianist is returning to the PULZ concert series after several years. This time, she will present songs from her acclaimed album Pozdravy z polepšovny as well as brand-new tracks. She will also play the legendary piano she used last year on the stage of Palác Akropolis during the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the music radio show Reflektor.

Hello Marcel

Adam Sodomka and Michael Macek first met in high school. One a saxophonist and illustrator, the other a newly awakened poet, they discovered a disco-inspired and poetic synergy they named Hello Marcel. Colorful synthesizers, dance euphoria, and bearded energy will come together on the stage of Palác Akropolis, where they will perform tracks from recordings like Hořák and Žádná sláva, as well as the newer hit Jsem psjetej.

Funny Anxious Boys is a project of three talented producers and DJs—Tomáš Martínek (TMA), Martin Nouza (nevertouch), and Matyáš Melíšek (meldaboi). Their sets combine genres like UK garage, dubstep, breakbeat, afrobeats, rap, and bassline. An unexpected and energy-packed musical mix. Every show is full of surprises, drawing the audience into a whirlwind of rhythms and bass.

The PULZ series at Palác Akropolis is curated by music journalist and Radio 1 host Vojtěch Tkáč. The evening will be held in collaboration with Akropolis Underground, where the afterparty will take place.
