The Rhythms of King Crimson Come Alive in the KOMARA Project New Album and Exclusive Concerts in Czechia and Slovakia with Special Guest Trey Gunn.

In 2015, three musicians came together—transcending borders of style, nation, and sound: Pat Mastelotto (King Crimson), David Kollar (Slovakia), and Paolo Raineri (Italy). Their collaboration gave birth to KOMARA, a sonic alchemy where progressive rock collides with ambient landscapes and avant-garde jazz.

Their debut album became a cult classic—hailed as one of the best records of the year in 13 countries. It earned the support of TOOL, with guitarist Adam Jones creating its iconic cover art. KOMARA's music even played before TOOL’s performances on their global tour. From the very beginning, the project has resonated with fans of deep, demanding, and rhythmically inventive music.

In June 2025, KOMARA enters a new era—releasing their long-anticipated second album and announcing exclusive concerts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. This time, they welcome a very special guest: Trey Gunn, touch-guitar virtuoso and longtime member of the legendary King Crimson, who will deepen the project’s rhythmic legacy.

At KOMARA’s core is rhythm—unpredictable, layered, pulsating. It connects the project to the legacy of King Crimson while pushing it into new dimensions: rawer, more intimate, and cinematic in sound.

“We don’t play songs. We create a world in real time,” says guitarist David Kollar, whose work has been praised—and even used—by Steven Wilson.

Prepare for an evening where rhythm becomes the narrator, the trumpet a call from another world, and the guitar a wordless image. KOMARA invites you to experience music that doesn’t ask—it consumes.
