MAOMAH is a musical army fighting for mystery and hope. It’s hard to say exactly what is meant by „musical mystery.“ Perhaps it is in this constant state of being incomprehensible that we find hope—that music will always be here with us and for us. MAOMAH seeks this mystery by all available means. They’re unafraid to wring out emotions in the most direct way, nor to rage and experiment freely. However, they see the main path to mystery in the freedom that improvisation brings to music.

MAOMAH is led by Klára Pudláková on double bass. The first lineup features three violinists—Jana Havláková, Anna Romanovská, and Milan Jakeš—who recorded the debut album, but MAOMAH keeps space open for expansion, adding a second lineup with Michal Wróblewski on saxophone and Štěpán Janoušek on trombone.
