O.N.E. is an acoustic jazz quartet creating and performing in the spirit of democracy. With no leader and no hierarchy, the band is built on four distinct personalities forming a single collective voice. Their music moves between lyrical modern jazz and the untamed energy of free improvisation, where structure emerges through dialogue rather than control.

The Polish quartet first gained major attention with their debut album One (2020), which was nominated for the Fryderyk Award, received a Jazz Oscar at the Grand Prix Jazz Melomani Gala in the Jazz Hope category, and won the Jazz Forum readers’ poll. Their second album Entoloma (2022), released on Audio Cave, further established the band’s ability to balance openness, precision and a strong sense of identity.

Their third album, Well, actually…, released on October 3, 2025 via the renowned Danish label April Records, marks another important step forward. All compositions are written collectively by the four musicians, reinforcing the band’s democratic foundation. The album thrives on contrasts: modern jazz meets tradition, lyricism collides with humour, and structure gives way to spontaneity. It poses a simple yet essential question—can music be touching and funny, sincere and cheeky, grounded and free at the same time? O.N.E. answer with confidence.

O.N.E. have performed at major international jazz festivals including Jazzahead in Bremen, Tallinn Music Week, Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival and B-Jazz in Belgium. On stage, their music unfolds as a living conversation—between instruments, personalities and the audience itself.

The quartet consists of Kateryna Ziabliuk (piano), Monia Muc (saxophone), Kamila Drabek (double bass) and Patrycja Wybrańczyk (drums). O.N.E. is a band not defined by leadership, but by listening.
