info Zrní will launch their new album in Palac Akropolis. After twenty-five years of exploring new paths between alternative music and pop, the band will present their latest record live. Zrní are constant explorers of new approaches. Moving in the space between alternative music and pop culture, over more than two decades they have developed a musical language that is entirely their own and instantly recognisable. Their distinctive identi ty is shaped by the poetry of their lyrics, their use of electronics and a compositional and production approach defined by genre fusion and complete creative freedom. Their music is like a black hole capable of absorbing almost anything: from Glass-like minimalism and strange disco to folk songwriting and psychedelic vertigo. Few bands are able to surprise their listeners as consistently as Zrní. On stage, they transform the intimacy of their recordings into tremendous energy. They can be wild and delicate, dreamy and direct. This constant movement between different moods, together with their desire to keep exploring new territory, has made Zrní one of the most distinctive and mature bands on the Czech music scene. Zrní have been playing together with the same line-up since 2001. They have released seven studio albums and received several nominations for Band of the Year at the Czech Anděl Music Awards. In 2012, they won an Anděl Award in the Discovery of the Year category. Now they are opening another chapter in their more than two-decade-long history. In Prague, they will present and officially launch their new, eighth studio album. |
