Eddie 9V makes his Czech debut! He brings Southern soul, blues and a new album to Palác Akropolis.

Raw guitar, a distinctive voice and infectious grooves. American singer and guitarist Eddie 9V will perform for Czech audiences for the very first time. His Czech concert debut takes place on 3 April 2027 at Palác Akropolis as part of the prestigious Prague International Bluenight series. He will bring his energetic blend of blues, soul and Southern rock, along with his new album Down Here, produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys.

From small bars in Atlanta, Eddie 9V has worked his way onto festival stages around the world. Drawing on the legacy of legends such as Howlin’ Wolf, Al Green, Freddie King and The Allman Brothers, he transforms their influences into his own distinctive sound. He gained international recognition with the albums Left My Soul in Memphis, Little Black Flies, Capricorn and Saratoga.

He opens a new chapter with Down Here, set for release on 6 November 2026. Recorded live in a Nashville studio, the album captures the spontaneity and raw energy of classic Southern recordings. Blues and soul are joined by rock, country and gospel, with songs that combine effortless musicianship and deep emotional expression.
