Interstellar death metal band Blood Incantation are pushing boundaries with their new album Absolute Elsewhere, which is unlike anything you’ve ever heard. Yes, it's a bold, perhaps even hyperbolic statement, but few can claim such a sonic breakthrough as easily as this quartet from Denver, Colorado. The two parts of the album — „The Stargate“ and „The Message“ — are as intricate as they are captivating, exponentially expanding upon the patterns established by their scene-shaking debut Starspawn (2016) and the groundbreaking follow-up Hidden History of the Human Race (2019). The evening will also feature Tokyo’s Minami Deutsch, who describe themselves as guided by psychedelic rock and minimal techno, but as their name — which translates to „Southern Germany“ in Japanese — suggests, they’re actually playing krautrock.
