Exhibition of projects made by the students from the Department of Visual Arts at Faculty of Multimedia Communication at Tomáš Baťa University in Zlín.

Let’s recollect the faded glory of gramophone records covers! We will travel into the musical history both recent and distant. All processed with a new insight of students from the Studio of Visual Communication and Studio of 3D design from the city of Uherské Hradiště. The to-be designers explore the possibilities of almost lost dimension of long-play disks in their projects. The graphic expression, point of view and the assignment are unique. Musical cult pieces as well as known and unknown pieces stood as models. But mainly it was always according to the individual taste of the students and that’s why they could approach their work with energy and commitment. And it is visible in the outcome. It is the same as with the world of popular music – some cover versions are better then the original.
