info Martin Mařák, photographer, scout and experimenter in the area of electro-acoustic music. This exhibition is the result of the two-year collaboration between the photographer Martin Mařák and the theater group Spitfire Company. The extensive collection of photographs is assembled from action shoots “lived out” right on the stage in close proximately to the actors, shoots taken directly as a part of theater events, and not least of all photographs taken in his Prague studio. Presentation: jerolimo.googlepages.com Note: Welcome to the age of form, which has won out definitively beyond argument. We show colors and shapes. They will remind you of reality, which we attempt to reveal. The vector herds wild horses to the hillside of the Himalayan massif… Now I begin to value the world of photography. Freedom, which for me was always foremost, thanks to photography acquired quite a new taste. The era to which I looked is a period of definition, where the edge of the blade gaping human tissue determines the right to Truth. The era which stopped all of our bodies up to the neck in asphalt and helped remove the trash and in the course of several seconds tore out our tongues. Our open jaws rain their own blood and we don’t feel pain and we aren’t able to speak. I look forward to becoming a brand new terrorist and it succeeds in striking me with my own bomb. My success will be determined by the weight of torn tissues. Then I will sell you culture and cerebral tissue. Tons of these staples imbedded with rot. It couldn’t be effectively redistributed by anyone. Thank you to all those who sacrifice so that civilization can stand on water. Martin Mařák |
