The photographer Roman Černý first carried out the idea of photographing festival stars for the magazine Time In in 2006. Together with the journalist Marek Gregor, the two visited the backstage of several festivals, explained their idea to the organizers of those events, the management of the musicians and finally to the musicians directly. Not all agreed, but they succeeded in gathering a range of famous names to this unique project. In 2008 they addressed the organizers of the Colours of Ostrava festival for the first time, and a collaboration was born. The magazine Time In no longer exists, but the project of taking portraits of stars continues. A new collaboration was begun with the Colours of Ostrava media partner, the magazine REFLEX. This time not a single person approached declined and thus you had the chance to see- in the pages of REFLEX, on their web pages and finally now here – a selection of the best that there was to see and hear in Ostrava.
