After many years, Romare is finally returning to the Czech Republic — performing at Palác Akropolis on February 6, 2026.

Archie Fairhurst, known as Romare, creates music like a collage – combining existing sounds into new, vibrant wholes. His work is playful yet deep, blending dance rhythms with carefully selected samples from around the world. He found inspiration in the work of American artist Romare Bearden, whose collage technique also shaped his own approach to electronic music.

From the breakthrough EP Meditations on Afrocentrism through his albums on Ninja Tune to his current project Fantasy , Romare continues to push the boundaries between rhythmic electronics, cinematic soundscapes, and experimentation. On stage, he reshapes his tracks live, merging dance-floor energy with precise composition.
