info Heavy Lungs deliver raw, loud and uncompromising energy, drawing inspiration from the unruly and liberating gigs of the 1980s and 1990s. Rising at a brutal pace from the outset, they have quickly shared stages with bands such as IDLES, The Oh Sees, METZ and JOHN. Now touring extensively across the UK and Europe, the band present their explosive, furiously fun and distinctive brand of punk. Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album All Gas No Brakes (2023, Alcopop! Records), Heavy Lungs have gained attention from tastemakers including Steve Lamacq and Iggy Pop. Whether it leaves you with ringing ears or an earworm that won’t let go, a Heavy Lungs show is one you won’t forget. Bristol-based noise collective KNIVES expand the universe of their debut album GLITTER (2025) with the collaborative project REGLITTER. The first EP, REGLITTER I (2025, Marshall Records), features reworked tracks and previously unreleased material created together with artists such as C.A. Francis (DITZ), Carson Pace (Callous Daoboys), Death Goals and chest. Rather than simple remixes, the band invited collaborators to fully reshape the songs, resulting in bold transformations that move between abrasive guitars, electronic drums and unexpected textures. The second instalment, REGLITTER II, is scheduled for release in spring 2026. Live, KNIVES are incendiary and unpredictable — a band constantly pushing their own boundaries and refusing to stand still. |
